JP Badminton Pattaya — the biggest badminton hall in the city
What are the opening hours and when is the best time to visit JP Badminton?
Badminton is open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 10 PM, and on weekends from 8 AM to 9 PM. The hall gets busy in the mornings and around 6 PM, so if you want a quieter session with more court availability, aim for early afternoon around 2–3 PM.
How much does it cost to rent a court and what packages are available?
Court rental is 150 THB per hour before 2 PM and 200 THB per hour after that, so morning sessions are the better deal. For regular players, JP Badminton also offers packages and memberships — worth asking about at reception if you plan to come more than once.
150 – 200 THB 60 min
What equipment can you rent and what do you need to bring?
You can rent a racket for 50 THB, court shoes for 50 THB, and shuttlecocks start from 85 THB — so you can show up completely empty-handed. Sports gear is also sold on-site. The one non-negotiable rule: proper badminton court shoes are mandatory, no running shoes or flip flops allowed.
Can you come alone and is there anyone to play with?
Absolutely — JP Badminton is a social place and solo players are welcome. The best times to find a partner are in the morning, around 3 PM, or in the evening. Coaching and training are also available if you want to improve your game, and the hall runs tournaments and events from time to time.
What facilities does JP Badminton Pattaya have?
The hall has everything you need — showers, changing rooms, lockers, and parking on-site. With 12 courts, it's one of the largest and best-equipped badminton facilities in Pattaya, suitable for casual players and serious athletes alike.
